Achieving Gender Equality in Our Lifetime: ILO C190 at the Intersection of Beijing+30 (CSW69 Side Event).

 

This event will focus on recognizing the inextricable link between gender equality and women's paid and unpaid labor by integrating ILO Convention (ILO C190) into the conversation on Beijing+30.

The proposed high-level convening to be held at the UN Headquarters during CSW69 in March 2025 will be hosted by the Permanent Mission of Ireland to the United Nations and the Permanent Mission of Chile to the United Nations, along with UN Women, International Labour Organization (ILO), Global Labor Justice (GLJ; the coordinator of the C190 Arc Task Force), Asia Floor Wage Alliance (AFWA), Feminist Alliance for Rights (FAR), Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), and Member State Permanent Missions to the UN (TBC).
