Criticality of Core Resources for Women and Emerging Funding Partners (CSW69 Side Event).


The Ministerial Roundtable will be an occasion to share the experience of Member States, especially from the Global South and hear their views on how UN Women can better leverage its mandate to provide effective and strategic support to Member States in delivering on their commitments during this milestone year of 2025.

This would involve supporting, resourcing, and promoting programmes where gender equality is prioritized in all aspects of UN Women's work, including normative efforts, programming, operations, and coordination to assist governments in implementing transformative approaches to gender equality. The discussion will also focus on country-level experience and cooperation, and on how investing in women and girls, through innovative approaches mobilizing multiple stakeholders among governments, civil society, and corporations, yields results.
