Praise the courage and resilience of Syrian women.

It’s been a tumultuous time for Syria, with the Assad family regime falling at the beginning of the year, ending half a century of dictatorship. Najat Rochdi, the UN Deputy Special Representative for Syria, has spoken to UN News to praise the courage and resilience of Syrian women, even at the height of the conflict and crisis, and their important role strengthening the cohesion of society.
