This event aims to discuss the role of national strategies in promoting women's economic empowerment in the MENA region and the Gulf states, focusing on policy frameworks, legal reforms, and gender-responsive budgeting.

It aims to address social, cultural, and institutional barriers, showcase successful initiatives and public-private partnerships, and explore policies supporting women entrepreneurs, including access to financing, mentorship, and overcoming legal and social obstacles to business ownership. Strengths, challenges, and opportunities for regional collaboration will also be examined.
